1. Acknowledgment of Risk

I, the undersigned guest, acknowledge that travel to and from Belo Vula Island Resort involves transportation by boat and activities on a remote island. I understand that these experiences may carry inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Slips, trips, and falls
• Drowning or water-related injuries
• Exposure to natural elements and wildlife
• Medical emergencies in remote settings
• Delays or disruptions due to weather or sea conditions

2. Voluntary Participation

I confirm that my participation in the boat transfer and island activities is voluntary and that I have been informed of the nature of the risks involved. I am physically capable of participating and have not been advised otherwise by a medical professional.

3. Waiver and Release

In consideration of being permitted access to the island and use of the resort’s facilities, I hereby:

• Waive, release, and discharge Belo Vula Island Resort Pte Limited, its owners, directors, staff, contractors, and affiliates from any and all liability for injury, loss, or damage to person or property, including death, arising from or in connection with the transfer or my stay on the island
• Agree not to bring any claim, legal action, or demand against the Resort or its representatives for any such injury or loss, except in cases of proven gross negligence or willful misconduct

4. Indemnity

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Resort and its representatives from any claims, costs, or liabilities arising from my actions or omissions during the transfer or stay, including damage to property or injury to others.

5. Medical and Emergency Response

I understand that medical facilities may be limited on the island and that emergency response times may be affected by location and weather. I accept responsibility for any medical costs incurred as a result of injury or illness during my visit.

6. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Fiji. Any disputes shall be resolved through mediation prior to any formal legal proceedings.

7. Further Acknowledgments

* If travelling with children, Parents agree and acknowledge to ensure full supervision of their child/children.

**Each individual is responsible for their personal belongings and own safety.

***There are no lifeguards that will be patrolling the beach, individuals will ensure their safety while being near or in the water.
